The First Poster for ‘Thor: The Dark World’ is Electric!

The first poster for Marvel’s upcoming Thor: The Dark World was revealed today, via the good folks at Coming Soon. With the first official trailer making its debut early next week, this poster is definitely what the doctor (Strange) ordered for us loyal fans ready to make our return to Asgard. I just hope they fixed the rainbow bridge!

Wondering what the sequel is about? Here’s a brief synopsis, again via the handsome devils at Coming Soon:

 

The sequel takes place in the aftermath of Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, following Thor as he fights to restore order across the cosmos when an ancient race, led by the vengeful Malekith, returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
