SDCC 2013: Godzilla Teaser Poster Revealed

Well, that didn’t take long.

Over the weekend, Godzilla director Gareth Edwards teased something big coming to the 2013 San Diego Comic Con, even sneakily pointing fans to the awesome new viral site for the reveal.

Wasting no time, today a Comic Con teaser poster for Godzilla trampled internet news outlets like the King of the Monsters himself!

 

With the Godzilla panel not taking place until Saturday, it looks like fans won’t exactly have to sit tight in the meantime. I’m hoping that the viral gets a few more updates (and possibly even a reveal) between now and the panel, but I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to more awesome teasers like this.

If you’re like me (and if you’re reading this, you probably are), you’ve been obsessively scouring the internet since last year’s Comic Con looking for any and every scrap of information about Godzilla that you could get. As much as it pains me to to say it, major props have to be given to Legendary and the folks behind the publicity for Godzilla for not letting the teaser video from last year get out. Now that we’re closer than ever to finally seeing something, anticipation is at an all-time high.
