The Monuments Men Trailer

Looking like a cross between an Ocean’s movie and Inglourious Basterds is the latest movie directed by and starring George Clooney, The Monument Men.  Base on a true story, Clooney leads a team in World War II that is assigned to protect art and landmarks from being destroyed by both the Nazi and Allied forces in order to preserve the culture of the countries in the warzone.  Clooney and Matt Damon’s characters seem to be actual soldiers but they are leading a rag tag team of historians and art experts that includes John Goodman, Jean Dujardin, Hugh Bonneville and Bob Balaban and Bill Murray seems to be a higher up officer.  It seems like it’s going to be a fun mix of comedy and action and Clooney has experience turning real life into interesting movies with Good Night and Good Luck and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.  The movie is out in December and you can check out the trailer below.
