Musical Montage: Weird Al “Dare to Be Stupid”

The cartoon Transformers movie had one of the greatest soundtracks of all time and one of the songs was from none other than Weird Al, who contributed “Dare to be Stupid” for the scene where Arcee, Daniel Whitwicky and others are harassed by the natives of the planet Junk, the Junkicons, led by the catch phrase spouting Wreck-Gar.  In the movie, Wreck-Gar was voiced by Eric Idle but Weird Al actually voiced the character later on Transformers: Animated.  The song itself is a parody of the sound and lyrics of the band Devo and the music video for the song contains reference to pretty much every Devo song.  You can check out the music video and the scene from Transformers: The Movie below.
