If you’re looking for something to fill the void left by Looper, Predestination seems like it could be the next trippy, mind-bending time travel movie. Ethan Hawke is a Temporal Agent, in charge of preventing criminal events that would drastically alter the time line. He recruits a young girl (newcomer Sarah Snook) to become a rookie agent and she might be the key to help him finally catch a bomber who he’s been tracking his entire career. It seems like the time travel is done by entering the date into a briefcase which instantly takes you to the date entered. It’s directed by The Spierig Brothers, who previously directed Hawke in the better than expected vampire movie, Daybreakers. The movie doesn’t have a definite US release date but it’s hitting Australian cinemas on August 28th. You can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
