The Pyramid Trailer

In case you don’t get enough archaeological found footage horror this weekend with As Above, So Below, The Pyramid is coming this winter for more scares.  A group of archaeologists uncover a new pyramid in Egypt and, against the warnings of the local military, they head inside and become trapped in an elaborate underground labyrinth, where something starts to stalk and kill them (probably a mummy).  It seems like it could be cool based on the setting but we’ve seen that backfire horribly in the past *cough* Apoll0 18 *cough*.  It is produced by The Hills Have Eyes and Piranha 3D director, Alexandre Aja, so that could help add to the cool factor.  It’s out on December 5th and you can check out the trailer below.
