Jack O’Connell is making his big debut next week in Unbroken but in February he’ll stay in the historical drama territory in “”71″. Directed by first time director Yann Demange, the movie is set in 1971, as the title would suggest, as the conflict between Protestants and Catholics in Belfast explodes into a city wide riot. O’Connell is one of the British soldiers sent in to keep the peace but gets separated from his unit and has to survive the riots to try and make his way home. It looks intense and it’s a time period and area that hasn’t been explored to often on film. The movie is out on February 27th and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
