Bryan Cranston is back in the lead playing legendary Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo in the upcoming biopic. Trumbo was on track to be the highest paid screenwriter in Los Angeles in the 1940’s but he drew the attention of the House Un-American Activities Committee and he’s blacklisted. Determined to get his work out there, he writes under pseudonyms or using other writers to take the credit until he was given screenwriting credit on two massive hits of the 60’s, Exodus and Spartacus. The movie has an all-star cast around Cranston, including Helen Mirren, John Goodman, Louis CK, Diane Lane, Elle Fanning and Michael Stuhlbarg and Jay Roach, director of the Austin Powers movies, Dinner for Schmucks and more. It’s out in November and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
