Coming off Weezer’s first album as the second single, the band parlayed the lyrics’ old school references into an homage to Happy Days for the music video. Directed by the brilliant Spike Jonze, the music video takes place at Arnold’s, with original Happy Days cast member Al Molinaro reprising his role from the show, introducing Weezer as the night’s entertainment. The video seamlessly blends actual Happy Days footage into new footage of the band and more dancers and the video’s stylist, Casey Storm, was used as the body double for The Fonz, who appears to be exuberantly dancing to the band’s sound.
