After pulling double duty in playing psychotic bad guys in The Expendables 3 and Machete Kills, Mel Gibson is back on the slightly more heroic side of things with the upcoming thriller, Blood Father. Playing washed up motorcycle outlaw/tatoo artist John Link, whose estranged daughter (Erin Moriarty) comes back into his life with a big problem involving her former boyfriend/drug kingpin. Link and his daughter need to go on the run and fight off the cartel members after them. Michael Parks, William H. Macy and Diego Luna co-star and the movie is directed by French director Jean-Francois Richet, who directed the Assault on Precinct 13 remake and the Mesrine films. The movie is out in Australia in August but doesn’t have a US release date yet. You can check out the trailer below (It’s not a red band but there is some NSFW language).
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
