Although we won’t be getting anymore Eva Green on Showtime now that Penny Dreadful has ended, she’ll be back this fall as the head mistress for a bunch of gifted kids in Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Based on the book of the same name, Asa Butterfield aka Jake is a new arrival to the titular home, where a group of children with strange powers are able to live in peace. While Jake learns what his ability is, the home’s location is discovered by The Hollows, who want to destroy the children and steal their powers, led by a creepy looking Samuel L. Jackson. It basically looks like X-Men filtered through Burton’s gothic quirkiness but it looks better than most of his recent team ups with Johnny Depp. The movie is out in September and you can check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
