The Dumbest Teens Ever Deal with a Deadly Virus in Viral (Trailer)

The guys behind Catfish, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, are super busy this summer with Nerve out toward the of July and Viral out around the same time on VOD.  The latest “viral outbreak” movie, Viral follows the outbreak of a disease called “Worm Flu”, which seems to have the same symptoms of the Rage virus from the 28 Days series, as people infected by Worm Flu become aggressive monsters who try to spread the virus through various bodily fluids.  Against the warning of their father, teens played by Analeigh Tipton and Sofia Black-D’Elia decide to attend a party and, of course, things go horribly wrong.  Blumhouse is behind Viral and it seems like it has the house style, with similar shots to things like The Purge.  It’s out in theaters and Digital HD on July 29th and then DVD and VOD on August 2nd.  Check out the trailer below.
