There’s been a ton of horror anthology movies over the last few years between the VHS and ABCs of Death series, Holidays and going all the way back to Trick R Treat, which really brought the genre back, and now this year there’s XX, which features four horrifying tales from female directors. Annie Clark directs “The Birthday Party”, Karyn Kusama directs “Her Only Living Son”, Roxanne Benjamin directs “Don’t Fall” and Jovanka Vuckovic directs “The Box” and Natalie Brown, Melanie Lynskey, Breeda Wool and Christina Kirk are some of the actors featured. It looks pretty creepy and Magnet Releasing/Magnolia Pictures have released some of the most critically acclaimed horror movies in recent years, like last year’s The Eyes of My Mother. XX is out in theaters, iTunes, VOD and Amazon on February 17th and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
