Xander Cage is back this week in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which looks to be completely insane in hopefully all the right ways. Back in 2002, the thing that let you know right off the bat that “this wasn’t your daddy’s spy movie” is that xXx kicks off at a Rammstein concert with a stuffy Bond surrogate in a tuxedo being killed and crowd surfed away. Feuer Frei, which means “fire at will” in German, was the perfect song to get you into the Xtreme mindset of the xXx universe and was featured on the “Heavy Metal Side” of the xXx soundtrack, which also featured a “Xander Side” that was more hip-hop/rap. Rob Cohen, the director of the movie, also directed Rammstein’s music video, which is essentially the opening of xXx just from Rammstein’s perspective on-stage and also features the standard clips intercut as well. Check it out below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
