If there’s two things people remember about 1993’s Free Willy, it’s the end Willy jump and Will You Be There, the theme song by Michael Jackson. In addition to being the theme song for Free Willy, Will You Be There was the eighth single from the Dangerous album and the album version is actually the longest song in Michael’s discography, clocking in at over seven mintues and featuring an intro of the fourthe movement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. The song reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 3 on the Billboard Pop charts. Unlike most Michael music videos that are basically mini movies, the video for Will You Be There features mostly footage from the Dangerous tour with clips from Free Willy intercut, check it out below.
