Bong Joon-Ho Brings Us Another Monster in Okja (Trailer)

Netflix is continuing to get bigger movies heading exclusively to their streaming service, with Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman and recently revealed David Ayer/Will Smith movie Bright and they also have the latest from brilliant Korean director Bong Joon-Ho with Okja. No stranger to giant monsters having directed The Host, Okja is a genetically created creature that’s part pig created by a corporation run by (or at least featuring her fairly high up) Tilda Swinton. Okja escapes into the wild and bonds with a young girl named Mija (Seo-Hyun Ahn) and the pair goes on the run. Jake Gyllenhaal, Lily Collins, Steven Yeun, Giancarlo Esposito and Paul Dano co-star and it’s hitting Netflix on June 28th. Check out the teaser below.
