After not seeing either of them since Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) are back and teaming up for an insane looking intergalactic adventure in Thor: Ragnorak. When Hela (Cate Blanchett), the Norse goddess of death, destroys Mjolnir and takes over Asgard, Thor is cast out and finds his Avenger teammate battling as a gladiator for the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). After the duo battle, they recruit Valkryie (Tessa Thompson) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to help them stop Hela from unleashing Ragnorak. Taika Waititi, director and co-star of What We Do in the Shadows, is directing and he seems to be having no problem from goofy spoof to huge scale action, as the visuals look better than anything in the previous two Thor movies combined but the sense of fun he brought to Shadows seems to be intact here as well, especially in the back and forth between Hulk and Thor. The movie is out on November 3rd and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
