Rob Cohen, the director of The Fast and The Furious, xXx and…ugh…Stealth, is back with a ridiculous looking new action heist movie, The Hurricane Heist. Originally pitched as Category 5, the movie stars Maggie Grace as a US Treasury agent who is guarding the the old bills at a US Mint facility in the path of a massive hurricane, which is exactly when a group of thieves decides to attempt a heist of the bills. Grace teams up with meteorologist Toby Kebbell and his brother to stop the thieves and survive the storm. It seems like the spiritual successor to Hard Rain, another ridiculous mash-up of disaster movie and heist movie. The movie is out on March 9th and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
