The Symbiote is Revealed in the New Venom Trailer
After a first trailer that seems like it was seemingly rushed out to capitalize on Black Panther hitting theaters in February, the new Venom trailer shows off a lot more of what we can expect from this sort-of/maybe MCU/Spider-Man spin-off. Tom Hardy stars as Eddie Brock, who is a reporting investigating the Life Foundation, who have found alien “symbiotes” are experimenting with fusing them to unwilling human hosts. Eddie is infected with a symbiote, which begins speaking with him and gives him powerful abilities, including transforming into an organic suit that fully encases Eddie inside. Eddie makes a deal with the symbiote uses it’s abilities to escape the Life Foundation’s mercenaries and take down it’s CEO, Dr. Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed). Michelle Williams co-stars as Ann Weying, Eddie’s girlfriend, and Jenny Slate, Woody Harrelson, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Sope Aluko and Scott Deckert co-star as well. Ruben Fleischer, the director of Zombieland and Gangster Squad, is behind the camera and the movie is definitely taking a different, but potentially cool and interesting, direction with the infamous Lethal Protector. The movie arrives on October 5th and you can check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
