With the corpses of Infinity War still fresh in everyone’s mind, Disney and Marvel will try to take your minds off things with a wacky and fun looking return for Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his new partner Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) in Ant-Man and The Wasp. Set after Civil War but before Infinity War, Scott Lang has made a deal with the authorities to go on house arrest following his aiding Captain America and his renegade team but a new threat forces Scott back in action. The Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) is a techno criminal who can phase through objects and steal Pym technology and Hank’s (Michael Douglas) old partner, Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburn) aka Goliath, factors in as well and there is more about Hank’s missing wife, Janet, who will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Also, Walton…effing….Goggins. Peyton Reed is back to direct and it looks like a ton of fun, going all in on all the shrinking and enlarging with so many different creative looking applications, including shrinking cars and building, Scott growing large to stop a car chase and so much more. Laugh away your MCU tears on July 6th and check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
