Although the fate of the MCU’s Spider-Man is up in the air following Infinity War, an alternate universe is jam packed with different Spider-People in Spider-Man: Into the SpiderVerse. Shemaik Moore of Dope stars as Miles Morales, who discovers that he shares Peter Parker’s (Jake Johnson) Spider powers and Peter takes him under his wing (or web!) to train as a superhero to help take on threats by various supervillains, including the Kingpin (Liev Schreiber). Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin co-star along with Hailee Steinfeld, who voices Spider-Gwen and whom we get a brief scene of at the end of the trailer. The look of this movie is insanely unique, at some points looking like a comic book come to life and the different frame rates makes things interesting as well. Lord and Miller are producing the movie with the trio of Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman directing. It’s out on December 14th and you can check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
