Even though it seems like she broke the mysterious time loop she was stuck in when she figured out and took down her killer adversary, Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) is caught again and this time her friends are trapped with her. A new killer in a baby mask is stalking Tree’s college and her boyfriend Carter (Israel Broussard) and friend Ryan (Phi Vu) are targets as well and, if one of them dies, Tree will have to force a loopback by killing herself or else they will stay dead permanately. The first Happy Death Day was a surprisingly fun horror romp thanks to the Groundhog Day gimmick and Happy Death Day 2U looks like it’s going to go even further with the time loop and 0 consequences nature of it. The movie hits on February 14th next year and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
