Sarnai Oyuunchimeg funds a science expedition that quickly becomes dangerous. However, she pushes to continue exploring the depths of the sea, risking the lives of everyone aboard. Could this be the powers of the War-Monger or something great?
Writer Tini Howard is no strange to working with characters with wicked morals. Howard has collaborated on series where characters walk the fine line between hero and villain, and War-Monger leaps right into the zone of villainy at the start. She’s short-tempered, foul mouth and quick to make people fight around her. Amilcar Pinna features a diverse setpiece, designing the rough Mongol horde, exotic sea life and the evil grins on Vexana’s face.
The Forgotten Queen takes a closer look of one of Valiant’s mysterious immortal villains. Her early appearances were taking on the super team of heroes in Unity, having been beaten and sent to the ocean. This series uncovers War-Monger’s devious past while giving a glimmer of her future. This series follows War-Monger as she journeys to find love, hate and all the moments in-between.
