The third entry in WB’s Monsterverse franchise, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is looking like easily one of the most epic movies of the summer, if not the entire year. Following up 2014’s Godzilla reboot, Earth is under siege by 17 new monsters, or “Titans” as the movie is calling them and only Godzilla can stop them and give humanity some chance at survival by proving why he’s the king and taking down rival alpha, Ghidrah. Rodan and Mothra are back as well in updated new forms and hopefully, maybe there are some other surprises for die-hard Godzilla fans as well. On the human side of things, Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Charles Dance, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr, Thomas Middleditch, Ken Watanabe, and David Strathairn co-star with Trick or Treat and Krampus director Mike Dougherty at the helm. The trailers for King of the Monsters have been beyond epic and this one is no exception. Just hook this kaiju action into our veins on May 31st.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
