Regardless of the unsuccessful operation, Project Rising Spirit process to try one more attempt to control Bloodshot. Running through separate memories in Bloodshot’s mind, the scientists wait for one memory to attach itself.
Issue six wastes no time for recovery, Bloodshot is back on Project Rising Spirit’s experiment table. After letting Bloodshot play out scenarios to create an artificial origin story, the lead scientists have packed multiple memory implants at once. As soon as one memory fails, a new story cycle in. Each story is a possible source of Bloodshot’s creation, but each has its own faults. It’s a fun interpretation to see how many times Bloodshot starts as a simple guy, doing his job until tragically strikes.
The chapter begins the next phase of Project Rising Spirit’s experimentation. Eliot Rahal and Kevin Grevioux reset the tension in this issue, opening a new story arc that sees Bloodshot aggressive being tested. This issue serves as a great jumping in point for new readers, seeing how the human weapon is contained. While Bloodshot was able to shake off the previous memories, this new arc warns of a new danger that would come from memories actually taking hold.
