For the latest Everything Action commentary, Zach and Chris watche 1991’s Godzilla vs King Ghidorah to get ready for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Combining the kaiju action we’ve come to expect, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah also pulls in some elements from other big movies at the time, like Back to the Future and The Terminator, as a group of people from the future arrive and claim to want to help the modern day citizens of Japan stop Godzilla before he destroys the country permanately but their real evil plot is to create King Ghidorah by leaving three genetically engineered creatures in the past to be irradiated instead. One of the members of the future crew is a cyborg who pulls off some extremely cheesy Terminatoresque feats of strength. You can check out the entire movie below (which is the version we watched) and watch along with the Everything Action crew.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
