Stephen King properties have never been hotter than the last few years and Netflix is diving back in after previously bringing us Gerald’s Game and 1922 with In the Tall Grass, based on the novella that King co-wrote with his son Joe Hill. When a pair of siblings stop near a field in Kansas, they hear a little boy calling for help from within. When they go to assist, they quickly realize the field of tall grass is some sort of sinister trap that causes them to become lost and separated. They run into others in the field, including the young boy himself and the boy’s father (played by Patrick Wilson). Laysla De Olivera, Avery Whitted, Will Bule Jr and Rachel Wilson co-star and the movie is written and directed by Vincenzo Natali, best known for Cube and Splice. The movie arrives on October 4th on Netflix and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
