Chris Pratt and Tom Holland are Magical Brothers in Onward (Trailer)

After sequels to The Incredibles and Toy Story, Pixar is back with an original story with next year’s Onward.  Set in a fantasy world that turned into a fairly normal and boring suburbia, elf brothers Ian (Tom Holland) and Barley (Chris Pratt) are gifted a magical staff from their mother (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and they are shocked to learn they can use it to possibly bring their father back from the dead for a single day.  The spell doesn’t quite go as planned, as their dad only comes back from the waist down, so the brothers set out on a quest to fully restore him.  It looks like typically great Pixar, with lots of fun reimaginings of suburban situations sprinkled with fantasy creatures and the animation seems incredible as always.  Octavia Spencer co-stars and Dan Scanlon, who directed Monsters University, is directing.  The movie is out on March 6th and you can check out the trailer below.
