The team-up of the peppy teens and monster hunters ramps up to a showdown in this issue. The killers step out from the shadows and give some classic evil gloating. The heroines have been chasing down leads and clues all this time, not knowing that the real truth has been watching in the background. The big plot reveal isn’t dramatic nor too hammy, but has enough slapstick silliness to fit the story.
Overall, this issue serves as a satisfying closing arc for the fun team-up and leaves the door open for a next arc to begin. There mystery and suspense may be solved for now, but a new adventure is sure to be on its way.
