Scott Adkins Gets Caught Between Multiple Factions in Legacy of Lies (Trailer)

Scott Adkins is back to crack skulls and break limbs in the new upcoming action movie Legacy of Lies.  Adkins stars as Martin Baxter, a former MI6 agent who quit after his wife died due to a failed operation.  Raising his daughter, Baxter is approached by a reporter named Sacha who has uncovered evidence against the Russian government that involves an old case of Baxter’s.  After he agrees to help, the Russian kidnap his daughter and force Baxter to recover Sacha’s evidence and bring her to them, dead or alive.  Along with the Russian, Baxter also finds himself on the wrong side of the UK officials as well.  The movie is directed by relative newcomer Adrian Bol, which makes things a little worrisome that it’s not someone like Jesse V. Johnson or Isaac Florentine who have a proven track record of awesome with Adkins but the trailer makes it seem like it hopefully be a solid action thriller with some decent Adkins ass-kicking.  The movie is out on DVD, Digital, and On Demand July 28th from Lionsgate and you can check out the trailer below.
