Bob Odenkirk has proven himself to be one of the best actors around with his consistently amazing performance on Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad before that and he’s a comedy legend going back to Mr. Show but next year he’s looking to put action badass on his resume with the new movie Nobody. Odenkirk plays seemingly normal schmuck Hutch Mansell, who secretly worked for a mysterious organization as an “auditor” and possesses lethal hand to hand and firearm skills. After he lets a break-in go unanswered and with his marriage on the rocks and kids disappointed in him, Hutch starts to unleash his skills again, which draws the attention of old threats. Connie Nielsen, Colin Salmon, Christopher Lloyd, Gage Munroe, and Aleksey Serebryakov co-star, and the movie was written by John Wick writer Derek Kolstad, with John Wick director David Leitch producing. Ilya Naishuller, who directed Hardcore Henry, is directing the movie and it looks like it’s definitely taking influences from all the talent behind the camera with brutal violence and John Wick style choreography and action. The movie is out on February 26th and you can check out the trailer below.
