Teaming up for the fifth time with Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen, Mads Mikkelsen plays a soldier trying to uncover the truth behind a train accident that killed his wife in Riders of Justice. Mikkelsen plays Markus, a soldier who is forced to return early from deployment to take care of his daughter after his wife is killed in a train accident. Markus is approached by a pair of men Otto (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) and Lennart (Lars Brygmann), who claim that the train accident was actually a deliberate terrorist attack by the violent gang known as the Riders of Justice. Markus teams up with the pair, along with a fourth man named Emmenthaler (Nicolas Bro) to track down the men responsible for the attack and take them down. It seems like it’s a mix of gritty action and dark humor, as the entire group with the exception of Mikkelsen are quirky, untrained civilians who need to learn how to use guns and deal with the escalating level of their mission. The movie is out in theaters on May 14th and On Demand on May 21st and you can check out the trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
