Guillermo Del Toro is opening his Cabinet of Curiosities just in time for Halloween as the anthology horror series arrives on October 25th for a four-day event that will see two new episodes drop each day. The show features introductions from Del Toro and the episodes have some of the most unique and creative horror directors at the helm: Panos Cosmatos, Vincenzo Natali, Catherine Hardwicke, Ana Lily Amirpour, Jennifer Kent, David Prior, Keith Thomas, and Guillermo Navarro. Two of the episodes are based on stories written by Del Toro while two Lovecraft adaptations, “Pickman’s Model” and “Dreams in the Witch House” are included as well. It looks like the spiritual successor to Showtime’s anthology series Masters of Horror, a beloved favorite here at Everything Action, along with some incredible-looking make-up and creature designs that are always a staple of any Del Toro project. Check out the trailer/first look below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
