Taylor Sheridan continues to take over Paramount+ and another of his new shows debuts in November with Sly Stallone’s first starring TV role, Tulsa King. Stallone plays Dwight “The General” Manfredi, who is just coming off a 25-year prison term. Keeping his mouth shut the entire time, Dwight is expecting to be rewarded by his crime family but he’s instead shipped off to Oklahoma to set up shop in Tulsa. Once in the mid-west, Dwight finds a group of quirky characters to help him build his new criminal empire while drawing the attention of the authorities, including ATF agent Stacy Beale, played by Andrea Savage. Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, AC Peterson and Garret Hedlund co-starring. Terence Winter, who created Boardwalk Empire and wrote and produced on The Sopranos, co-created the series with Sheridan. Tulsa King debuts on November 13th and you can check out the new trailer below.
I’m like the J. Jonah Jameson of Everything Action, writing and editing and constantly demanding pictures of Spider-Man.
