Everything Action Commentary: Double Dragon
For this month’s Everything Action Commentary, Zach and Chris watched the 1994 video game adaptation, Double Dragon. Starring Mark Dacascos and Scott Wolf as Jimmy and Billy Lee, the movie finds the brothers on the run from the evil Koga Shuko (Robert Patrick), a businessman and a crime lord who is seeking both halves of the mystical Double Dragon medallion. Uniting them would give Shuko unlimited power and the ability to take over the city of New Angeles, and possibly the world. While watching the movie, Zach and Chris discuss the shocking similarities to the 1993 Super Mario Bros. Movie, the lite Robocop style satire, the theme park stunt show style action, Alyssa Milano’s neon child army, and more. Double Dragon is available to watch on Prime Video, Peacock, Tubi, Pluto TV, Crackle, and more and you can sync it up and watch along with the Everything Action crew.
