Jason Statham Dives Deep in August With Meg 2: The Trench (Trailer)

Along with the previously released Operation Fortune and the upcoming Fast X, Jason Statham is also up against giant sharks again this year in August with Meg 2: The Trench. Statham is back as Jonas Taylor, rescue diver and deep-sea submersible expert, who returns to the Mariana Trench when increased aquatic activity is detected. Joining a team to investigate the deepest part of the Earth, Jonas finds himself up against not only a pack of new Megaldons but a number of other prehistoric creatures who escape the depths and begin to terrorize the ocean. The Wolf Warrior himself, Wu Jing, co-stars along with Sienna Guillory, Page Kennedy, Cliff Curtis, Shuya Sophia Cai, Skyler Samuels, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta. Ben Wheatley, who previously directed movies like Free Fire and High-Rise, is directing and the movie is out on August 4th. Check out the trailer below.
