Based on the 1980s action/adventure series starring Lee Majors, Ryan Gosling takes over as The Fall Guy in March next year. Directed by Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde, and Bullet Train director David Leitch, The Fall Guy finds Gosling as stuntman Colt Seaver, who is working on a massive blockbuster action movie directed by his ex, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt), whom Colt would very much like to rekindle a romance with. When the star of the movie, Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) goes missing, Colt is recruited by the movie’s producer, played by Hannah Waddinghm, to find him and stumbles into a criminal plot that puts his stuntman skills to a real-life test. Winston Duke, Stephanie Hsu, and Teresa Palmer co-star, and Lee Majors will also appear. I get lots of The Nice Guys vibes from Gosling combined with the top-tier, practical action set pieces that Leitch has brought to all his projects going back to his time on John Wick. The Fall Guy is out on March 1st and you can check out the trailer below.
