Based on but a reboot of the 2013 Bong Joon Ho movie, TNT’s new series Snowpiercer is set 7 years into the journey of the titular train as the tension between the classes on-board grows, which becomes further strained when a string of murders is uncovered and former homicide detective and current tail section member Andre Layton is tasked with investigating.
Based on the movie of the same name, Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly star in TBS’ upcoming take on Snowpiercer, as the remnants of humanity live in a giant train that is divided by class as the world outside is a frozen, unlivable wasteland.
Snowpiercer’s Bong Joon Ho comes to Netflix next month with Okja, a charmingly weird looking monster movie where a girl teams up with a team of animal rights activists to rescue her best friend, the title character and a genetically engineered pig creature, from the evil corporation that created him.
Following up Snowpiercer, Bong Joon-Ho returns to similar ground as his monster movie The Host with Okja, where the titular creature and a young girl bond and try to escape an evil corporation led by Tilda Swinton.
