After a year off, E3 came back to showcase the next generation of games, hardware, and creators to check out. With over 30 companies and special presentations, it was 20+ hours of content for gamers to stream. With big game devs waiting all year to unleash huge announcements, it was an exciting event to guess would be revealed. However, not every game presentation sparked huge excitement. We rounded up the best announcements and trailers we think were great. And maybe one or two that are just plain goofy to watch again.
The games we played were as fiery as the weather this August. We got ate and ran through tasty enemies, collected DNA in the 50s, wielded giant weapons as crab monsters. We tried our hands on action-packed games, plus title that helped us relax in this month of reviews in the Gamebox.
For this addition of Gamebox 2.0, we got the chance to play the excellent final version of The Final Station, a mobile game that turns the mechanic of Tinder into a wacky medieval adventure, the demo for Tecmo’s take on the Dark Souls style action game and more.
