The first of a new trilogy from Peter Jackson, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has a new trailer that explains more of the what and who for the more casual fans and shows off a ton of new footage.

The second trailer for the Snow White movie that seems like it will actually be worth watching, Snow White and the Huntsman, is out and shows off more of the Lord of the Rings inspired fantasy action the movie is going for.

Peter Jackson returns to Middle Earth to tell the prequel of the Lord of the Rings trilogy as Bilbo Baggins joins Gandalf the Gray and a troupe of dwarves on an adventure to Lonely Island, where they hope to retake a vast treasure that has been stolen by the dragon, Smaug.

We get our first look at one side of the great Snow White movie war of 2012 with the trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.

This week is full of real “winners” on DVD and Blu Ray but the bright spot is our Pick of the Week, the Extended Editions of the Lord of the Rings movies on Blu Ray.

An Everything Action favorite for playing Professor Arturo on Sliders, we also love John Rhys-Davies as Sallah in the Indiana Jones movies and Gimli in the Lord of the Rings movies.
