Some classic Lucasarts games arrived on Good Old Games this week, the True Detective Season 2 cast gets some new additions, new details on the Supergirl series, Loki returning in Thor: Ragnorak and much more in this week’s News Shotgun.

This week there was a bunch of casting news, including the third member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Disney is rebooting one of their cult sci-fi movies, Dark Horse is adapting the insane original script to Star Wars and Lucasarts gets shutdown and much more in this week’s News Shotgun.

Huge news rocked the nerdosphere today as Disney announced that they have purchased Lucasfilm from George Lucas for just over $4 billion, giving them complete control over the Star Wars and Indiana Jones properties.

Not too much news this week but we did find out about the massive 10 disc Avengers pack that will be out in September along with the major DC superhero who will come out of the closet and a new Treasure Island movie from Guy Ritchie is in the works.
