200 years before Game of Thrones, the Targaryens rule Westeros in the upcoming prequel series House of the Dragon, which hits HBO/HBO Max in August.

Although no one really enjoyed the final season of Game of Thrones, HBO hopes you’ll be ready to return to Westeros next year when the prequel series House of the Dragon, which follows the reign of the Targaryens, debuts.
