Everything Action Theater: Taxi Brooklyn
Based on both the 1998 and 2004 versions of the action-comedy Taxi, Taxi Brooklyn found Supergirl’s Chyler Leigh starring as NYPD Detective Caitlin “Cat” Sullivan, who is forced to partner up with a taxi driver to solve crimes when her license is suspended.
Musical Montage: Was (Not Was) “Walk the Dinosaur”
Despite it’s true nature as a commentary/satire about nuclear apocalypse, Walk the Dinosaur by Was (Not Was) became a massive hit in 1987, especially in the dance clubs, and was also featured in 1994’s The Flintstones and had covers by George Clinton and Queen Latifah.
