Able to cross dimensions to wreck havoc on other worlds, evil sorcerer Randall Flagg has tried to gain control of an Earth ravaged by an apocalyptic plague in The Stand and tried to destroy The Dark Tower on Mid-World under the alias Walter O’Dim.

The Dark Tower series is Stephen King’s magnum opus but unlike the unique and complex story told in the eight novels, the movie version strips everything to the bone for an incredibly generic “stop the end of the world” action movie.
