It’s finally 2024 and that means getting our hands on the games to start the year off right. We raced Micro Machines in VR, became investigators for Bahnsen Knights and Card Detective, and went on a vampiric quest in The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest. Check out these game reviews and more in the January Gamebox 2.0
I’ve been a huge Wallace & Gromit/Aardman Animation fan since I first saw The Wrong Trousers as a kid randomly on PBS and have loved all the other entries in the series, from the other shorts to Curse of the Were-Rabbit. So it should go without saying that I was extremely excited for the charming duo’s first foray into VR, The Grand Getaway, which is out now on Meta Quest 2, 3, and Pro from Astrea, Aardman, AtlasV and No Ghost Studio.
During the doldrums of a cold February, there is nothing better to curl up with a loved one and also doing the things you love, like gaming. We swung through space in VR with Straylight, went on a few dates in Ten Dates, tried to survive the dangers of Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition, play some abstract chess, and more.
As we roll into the holiday season, we’re thankful for being able to check out another batch of games for the latest Gamebox 2.0. We branch down paths in a lost FMV game, lead an army of the undead, battled punks in VR, and fought paranormal cyberpunk demons. Check out everything we review this November below
