After putting their 4v1 spin on franchises like Friday the 13th and Predator, Illfonic brings the next level of ghost combat in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. This new asymmetric multiplayer game lets you either bust ghosts as a fresh-faced ghostbuster or be the ghost that terrorizes the night.  Zach and Chris both got to check out the title and share their thoughts below.

Developed by IllFonic, known for Predator: Hunting Grounds and Friday the 13th: The Game, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a 4V1 asymmetrical multiplayer title that pits a team of newly recruited Ghostbusters against the ghostly undead. Set sometime after the events of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Winston Zeddemore (voiced by Ernie Hudson) leads fresh recruits to take on take on a new rise of paranormal activities in New York. Players will use their equipment, wits, and teamwork to capture these spiritual pests.

The Real Ghostbusters, of course, used various spins on Ray Parker Jr’s “Ghostbusters” but each episode, at least for the first season, featured an original song performed by the duo Tahiti and a soundtrack album of those songs was released in 1986.

The official Ghostbusters YouTube channel is adding episodes of The Real Ghostbusters (and Extreme Ghostbusters) every week and you can watch the first episode of The Real Ghostbusters, “Ghosts R Us”, in the latest Everything Action Theater.
