It’s the end of one chapter of the MCU and the beginning of another this weekend with Spider-Man: Far From Home while Hereditary director Ari Aster delivers another horrific journey into madness with Midsommar.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker is recruited by Nick Fury to help him and a mysterious visitor from another Earth stop The Elementals, a group of powerful villains that are wreaking havoc on cities across Europe.

Peter is interrupted on his class trip to Europe by none other than Nick Fury, who recruits Spider-Man to help deal with the threat of the Elementals and the villainous Mysterio in July’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

After his fantastic debut in Civil War, Tom Holland is back and starring as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which finds the friendly neighborhood wallcrawler trying to prove himself to Tony Stark while balancing high school and tracking down a crew of arms dealers led by the vicious Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture.
