Disney unveiled the first trailer for another of their big Jerry Bruckheimer blockbusters, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. The movie stars Nicolas Cage as the Sorcerer and Jay Baruchel as the titular apprentice. It’s a reimagining and expanding of the classic segment from Fantasia where Mickey gets in over his head with a bunch of mops after trying on his master’s magic cap. The new movie moves into the modern age and has Cage battling other wizards or something. Cage doesn’t actually seem that bad in this trailer, which is surprising considering the crap he’s been in lately *cough* Wicker Man *cough*. Anyway, the movie comes out next summer and the trailer is below.
