The second trailer for the first part of Peter Jackson’s epic new trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is out and explains a little bit more about what’s going on for the more casual LOTR fans. Bilbo Baggins is approached by Gandalf the Gray to join a troop of dwarves, who are trying to reclaim their mountain home from the evil dragon Smaug. John Rhys Davies as Gimli was a great source of comic relief in the LotR trilogy and expand that to 12 dwarves and there seems to be a healthy mix of comedy and epic action in the Hobbit. Also, Martin Freeman seems like pretty much the perfect young Bilbo. Check out the trailer below and the movie is out this December.
