Georges St-Pierre Joins “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”

GSP! — The Riddum Meter Will be off the Charts.

UFC Welterweight Champion Georges “Rush” St-Pierre has been added to the upcoming Marvel Phase 2 film, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. According to the gents at Latino Review, GSP will be playing Georges Batroc, better known as Batroc the Leaper.

A master of Savate, a gritty but effective form of kickboxing favored by French thieves, Batroc is a pretty badass dude, even if his duds are… Extremely French.

GSP will be joining a cast that includes Chris Evans, Robert Redford, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier starts shooting shortly, and will hit theaters on April 4, 2014.

Only one question must now be answered: Will GSP be impressed by Cap’s performance?
